Formula to Split Data between two columns
I hope you can help. I have a large spreadsheet which will contain (for example) Column A that has a long list of Make and Models of vehicles in this format:
Ford Focus 1.6 Ghia LX
Now I really need to make a split so that Just the Make is displayed in Column B and then the rest of the data in Column A is moved into Column C as the model of the vehicle.
Given that the Make of the vehicles will very in length, can anyone think of a formula that might suit?
Re: Formula to Split Data between two columns
So you mean Ford Focus goes into column B and the rest into C? Will it always be the first two words?
