Football Tournament group stages and knockout

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the following;

Ive done my best to create my own one but now I've hit a stumbling block with the tie break formulas and tables.

This i what my aim is;

Tournament 1 (16 TEAMS)

- 16 Teams
- 4 Groups A,B,C,D 4 teams per group, each team will play each other once with no home or away advantage.
- Top two go through to the quarter finals, semi final, 3&4 place and then a final.

Tournament 2 (20 TEAMS)

- 20 Teams
- 4 Groups A,B,C,D 5 teams per group, each team will play each other once with no home or away advantage.
- Top two go through to the quarter finals, semi final, 3&4 place and then a final.

I would like the tie break rules to be as follows;

a) Head to Head result between the 2 sides in question (winning team having the advantage in league position).
b) GD, Goal difference for and against.
c) most goals scored.
d) least goals conceded.

If for example 3 teams finish on the same amount of points, then obviously point a) can't be used to unlock the tiebreak, we move down to point b) Goal difference to determine who finishes top of the group, I would then like second and third place to return back to point a) to unlock the tiebreak...

In the knockout stages if the game ends in a draw it will go on to penalties to decide the winner.
