Elimate blinking mouse cursor when using now function

I try to use Now function to show real date and time but the mouse cursor kept blinking.
It is ignoring.

How can I elimnate the blinking?

NOW returns today's date AND actual time. TODAY() returns the date only

There is date and time of the bottom right of MS Windows, display does not blink. I want to have a larger time display on a cell while
I can work on the spread sheet. I do not need the date, I can use today(). I want to have real time, I find Now function can refresh
the time with a blinking cursor. I am OK with VBA.

Do I need to repost in the VBA section?

No sure why you'd want to do that, but if you do, it will kill Undo. There are surely an ocean of free Windows timer & clock gadgets available.

I want an eye catching for a reminder the time to do something else.
