    Help with a formula

Hi. I have a time sheet i am struggling with to find the formula. what i am after if to work out when i have worked over or under my normal working hours.

I am currently working out the hours & minutes by times the hours by 100 then adding the minutes to this for example 6hrs 45min = 405. But i was wondering if there is a forumla to work this out on its own. i have attached my document and in colum AM & AN are where i am trying to sort out.

I hope this is simple to see as this is driving me up the wall now and i am unable to solve this problems myself.

Hope someone is able to help me.

    1 - 16-3-15 to 10-4-15.xls

    Kind regards

    Dee

    Re: Help with a formula

Welcome to the Forum! However, I must ask you to provide a title that better summarizes your question. Since almost everything in Excel has to do with formulas, your title is too general for us to scan a list of titles and determine if we can help with this one.

How about "Determine when i have worked over or under my normal working hours"?

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 7)

Look at your first post. Underneath is an icon labeled "Edit Post." Click on the icon. This will open an edit window. Under the edit window is a button labeled "Go Advanced." Click on that button. Above your edit window you will now see the title of your post in an editable text box. Change the title, then click the button at the bottom labeled "Save Changes."

If you have trouble with this process let me know what you want the title to be and I will change it for you.

I just noticed that more than two days have passed since your post. You might not be able to edit it. If not, let me know what you want the title to be and I will change it for you.
