Hey all,
I'm trying to update an existing Excel spreadsheet, used for inventorying departments. Basically, You select a department from a drop down, and then in the next column, you can access a drop down for that department's inventory.
We have formally added two new departments since this was created, and I need to build the drop downs for them. Their information populates from a different sheet in the same workbook. I've been able to add the departments to the initial dropdown.... but I have NO idea how to conditionally relate a new dropdown to those options. Help?
Example:
Cell E/F/G/H(grouped)162 has dropdown with 12 options. Depending on the choice, cell J/K/L(grouped)162 will populate with a drop down of ONLY E/F/G/H162's category. All dropdown information exists on a corresponding sheet in the workbook.
Program is Excel for Mac 2011
