New Data Validation Question!

Hello,

I've searched through a lot of posts but can quite seem to find an answer, so if there is one, please excuse the new thread. I use simple dropdown lists in a spreadsheet (Excel 2010) that are populated by a separate tab within the same worksheet. My question is, these tabs get 'updated' frequently with new information. (i.e., a list of employees - which changes frequently) but the range on the dropdown list does not change because I have selected a 'cell range.' Is there a way to get that dropdown list to chose a tab and automatically update based on what's in that tab, as opposed to the cells? Does that makes sense? Thanks!

You could create a dynamic range for the DD, and in the Refers to box type: =OFFSET($A$1,0,0,COUNTA($A:$A),1) (or, whatever your reference is)
