Dates in Multiple Formats...Need to make same

    HI....

In column A is how Data pulls, and I want it to be in Month/Day format. However the ones in red come in the opposite. My formula in B works only for the one's in red. Is there a better formula, or an If statement to keep the ones in Black the same format, and just change the ones in red?

    Thanks

    There is only one formula.

Or you could just select col A and set the format to m/d/y.

Maybe I didn't explain well. All the dates in black are correct as is. All the dates in red look correct at first, but in the cell it is DD/MM format, that is my formula of

works. Your column B for the dates next to red are not correct. So, I want one formula that will work for this oddity. This is a small sample and have thousands of liines.

It looks like your date format is set to Armenian location. If you select column B, hit CTRL+1, click on Date category and change the location (e.g., English (United States)), your formula should work just fine if I am understanding the issue.

Re: Dates in Multiple Formats...Need to make same

    I am reposting my sheet.

    1) the data comes like this, this is only a sample of 4 out of thousands. The two highlighted in red come in a different format than black
    2) The ones in black are the correct date. The ones in red should be 3/5/14, and 3/7/14, but if you look in the cell or change format are actually 5/3/14, and 7/3/14

    3) What can I do to get this to work? question1.xlsx As you can see from column I my formulas do not pick up the dates as march, but May.

How would any code or formula know that the red ones are wrong and should be reversed?

I see it. Should the code know they are wrong because they are red?
