FICO Movement Problem - Vlookup, If, ISNA PLEASE HELP!

    Hello All,

I need help in this FICO movement problem (See Attached). The problem is to see how accounts in each FICO bucket moved from November 2012 to March 2015. In my "Working On" tab, i seem to have the the right logic but somehow the numbers are reversed. Highlighted in Yellow on the 'Working on Tab', "Payments Made Through March 31,2015" should match the total accounts to "NUMBERS TO MATCH PAYMENTS MADE THROUGH MARCH 31, 2015" of 3,168 My formula is most likely wrong or else these would have matched.

Please help, I will give positive feedback to any that can solve my issue.

    Thanks!

i think i wrote that formula for you a few weeks ago, right?

your two datasets apparently have different information in them... you only have 2,957 non-foreign records in the dataset that is included in your attached workbook. there is no way you're going to get a count of 3,168 from there. i can't see the dataset that feeds "Payments Made Through March 31,2015" so i can't tell you exactly what's different, but the issue appears to be related to your data sources, not any formula / pivot logic as far as i can tell.
Hope I could help - if your post has been solved don't forget to mark it as such.

    Hello Simurui,

Yes you did Simurui! Thank you, however The data set is in the tab for "Payments Made Through March 31,2015" is in the "WA -2012-B March 2015" tab (sorry this source was from another spreadsheet but the numbers are the exact same), note that I have hidden sorted out all the foreign accounts (as I didnt need foreign info). There is definitely a formula to have the 3,168 match the bottom number. Can you please help with this?

    Thanks so much!

The FICOs are under the "Category" column in the March 2015, I added the "In November" column to see if the accounts were added, but obviously I am getting the wrong number

i only briefly glanced at the "In November" formula, but it looks fine. you could also just use iferror(vlookup(),"Accounts Added") but w/e it works fine either way.

but there are only 2,957 non-foreign records in 'WA - 2012-B March 2015', and only 2,993 total... there is no way this is the exact same as other spreadsheet which apparently has a total of 3,168 records. double-check your sources.
