Searching for LASTNAME, FIRST NAME, MI. getting stuck

Greetings,

I've got two sheets of data. Each has Col A for names.

However, they vary between sheets and cels:

Sheet 1: Doe, John B
Sheet 2: Doe, John Brian

Same people, different sheets, and different ways they were entered.

So, I want to search 'last name, first name, MI regardless if there is a full middle name typed.

In a perfect world I'd like to first try to match the full middle name, and then just settle for the MI if need be.


I'm not too worried about duplicates just yet (Doe, John, bob or Doe, John, Bill).

Oh, well the example above with John Doe is right out of it. Except for the doe part.

Each of those names in my example sit in A1 on their respective sheets.

They are printed just like that.

No I mean you need to upload you sample excel file at forum, click "Go Advanced" button and then find paperclip image button to attach the file
