    Formula with vlook up

Hello, I hope someone can help me please.

I think I'm looking for a vlookup formula.

I have a workbook and sheet 1 has my form. In cell B7 has a drop down with different sizes labeled as Finish OD (in.) and in cell E7 I have a drop down with different sizes labeled as Start OD (in.) size and in cell B8 has a drop down with different Wall thickness (in.) sizes. What I would like is for a user to choose a Finish OD and Start OD and Wall Thickness from the drop downs then do a vlook up and populate the Stretch size in cell B11.

On sheet 2, I have a form with all the different OD sizes and Wall sizes. Cell A9:A65 contains Start OD (in.), cell B9:B65 contains Wall Thickness, cell C9:C65 contains Finish OD (in.), cells D9:D65 contains Wall Thickness (in.) and cells E9:E65 contains the Strtech Size.

Also, not all the sizes 9 through 65 are in my drop downs yet, does that matter or as long as the user chooses any combination that is listed on form the vlook up will pick the appropriate stretch size?

    Thank you for your help!!

    Hi,

How far do you get or what error messages do you see and how big is the file?

The upload seems to be working OK at the moment.

File is only 16KB. No error message, there's just a circle that keeps going around when trying to upload. I tried again and nothing.

    Thanks

    Re: Formula with vlook up

    Maybe this can help:

Finished OD is in cell A7 and the value is in B7
Start OD is in cell D7 and value in E7
Wall Thickness is in cell A8 and value in B8
Wall Thickness is in cell D8 and value is in E8

The values are chosen from a drop down.
Sheet 2 has a excel form which has the values then a set Stretch Factor. Once the user picks the correct values I would like the stretch factor to be filled in.

FINISH OD (in.) 0.2500 START OD (in.) 0.375
WALL THICKNESS (in.): 0.028 WALL THICKNESS (in.): 0.028

    STRETCH FACTOR XXXXX

    Thanks hopefully this helps

Yes I did notice a few oddities with delays earlier. Have you tried it recently?

    Re: Formula with vlook up

    Any issues today Richard?

I'm going to Go Advanced then to Manage Attachments then on top right to Add Files and all it does is try uploading. Is this the right way to upload an attachment?

    Please advise,

    Thank you,
    Ronak

    Re: Formula with vlook up

I guess I will have to try another forum. For some reason it will not upload the file.

Thank you for your help anyways.
