Pivot table preparation: find region and return sales manager (matched with region)

I have a table with a lot of different data.
ID, date, customer name selling price, costs, profit, country, region, etc.
I have 2 worksheets to work with. The above one that has 8000 rows, and the other that has only 4 sales managers, and 5 regions (Chris sells in 2 regions).
I am trying to find the region in a column, and return the appropriate sales manager (matched with the region).
Can anybody help me?
I have tried Vlookup, nested ifs, match/index, and others.
