Lightbulb INDEX MATCH VLOOKUP Named Range

    Hi there

Attached is a spreadsheet which contains data relating to several companies over a few years (2011 - 2015)

In cells B4 and C4 I would like the user to be able to select the YEARs they would like to compare, e.g. compare 2014 to 2011 and the variances to be reflected in the table A5:O14

I have set up each year as a 'named range' as I thought this might help but I can't quite figure out if that is the easiest approach to make it happen

Any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks in advance

    Maddy

Re: INDEX MATCH VLOOKUP Named Range

Well, you can solve that with the Indirect formula, but why not just create a simple database that has them all in a very easy to report on format?
This allows for a much simpler formula and therefore an easier to audit worksheet/workbook.
