Simple Q - how to calculate total commission made by each Sales Perosn

Hi everybody,

I am coming across some difficulties in regards creating a formula. For demonstation purposes please see the example attached. The two formulas are aimed to:
1. In the cell filled with yellow, calculate Mike's total commission (i.e. 400 as 100+200+100)
2. In the cell filled with blue, calculate Mike's total units sold (i.e. 3)

Please upload a sample of your workbook, not a picture of your data. Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you
Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls and stuff) - and, depending on what browser is being used, some pics dont even show up on the forum

Your workbook should show a small desensitized example of the data you are working with and a manual mockup of the expected results.

having said that, take a lookm at using the SUMIF() function

I might also suggest that you add data validation to cell A9 so as to insure that a valid name is entered.
