Question Automatically pull the data from the cell

    Hello,

I've been using this to calculate stone costs in a workbook I'm working on without having to look up each cost one at a time.
    =(VLOOKUP(" ",Stones!$A$2:$C$632,3,FALSE))*[@[Size 1]]

I was wondering if there's any way to automatically pull the information from any cell in any given column.

    Please advise.

    Welcome to the form

In which column is the data and where is quantity

You are searching a space " " in column A and multiplying it with size.

Please upload a sample excel sheet

    Thank you for the welcome.

    Please see the attached image.
The excel sample file exceeds the limit so I could only upload a picture.
The VLOOKUP is pulling data from the Stones Sheet.

All the stone shapes, sizes, and quantities are to the left of the cell.
Any calculations I'm trying to get done is to the right.

    =(VLOOKUP(" ",Stones!$A$2:$C$632,3,FALSE))*[@[Size 1]]

The space is where the stone shape and size would go, e.g. =(VLOOKUP("RD 3.0",Stones!$A$2:$C$632,3,FALSE))*[@[Size 1]]

The stone shapes and sizes are located in columns F, H, J, and so on (any column labeled "Stone #").

Please let me know if you need anything else.
    Thank you.

    EDIT: I forgot to mention.

    Hi

If I understand correctly, you need to find stone size in any of the F,H,j etc column and then find the respective size, This thread may solve your problem.

Re: Automatically pull the data from the cell

    Good morning,

Stone Cost column has to pull data from Column F to Column O and the Stone Cost Sheet.
Per Stone and Size, I would like to pull the Stone 1 data from the Stone Cost Sheet to then multiply it by the Size 1.
But since there is more than one type of stone, I was wondering if there's any way to find the different Stone 1 - 5 from the Stone Cost Sheet to then automatically multiply them by the Size 1 - 5.

    Thank you.

I am sorry if I may be still struggling, but here is what I understand.

If not, please create a small file including both sheets and giving input & expected results.

    Thanks
