Vlookup and recalculation from multiple sources Help please

    Hi All

I have workbook linked to multiple workbook via a Vlookup formula,

when I try to recalculate in the destination workbook so Vlookup are updated , few cells linked to particular workbooks are not being updated.

I have to have the source workbook open at the time of the update..

is there a way if making this easier ?

    Thank you

I wish! but there are over 1.3 millions lines so they have to be split up.

In that case I suggest you split them up in 1 workbook, in several sheets.

it s going to be a huge file > 60MB, they have formuleas on each line with sumif and if statement,

it is meant to be a flexible mechanism made up of linked workbooks that update depending of a changing inputs. so

I doubt if you can have a "working" file, with sumif and if.

I suppose VBA would be better in this case, although i am no VBA expert.
