Create a function to create a new excel file

What I want to do sounds pretty simple, but I'm not really sure how possible it is... I just want to create a button in my workbook that will target a separate excel file and create a duplicate of it... Let me further explain.
I have a nice template for an invoice that we use. I also have the master list that I summerize our invoices in. I would like to set it up where I have a button in my master list that will just launch a new workbook from my invoice template.
I hope that all makes sense. If I need to explain more I will try! lol

Basically you shall write short VBA code (macro) and assign it to the button in your file with invoices list.
