    Sum to return figures based on dates

    Hello, hopefully someone can help as i'm struggling to get this too work. I've attached an example spreadsheet and what im trying to achive is totals in cell G3 and H3, but these totals need to be the sum of amounts that are dated (in column A) the same or prior to the date in cell F1. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi. In G3, drag across

    =SUMIF($A:$A,"<="&$F$1,B:B)
