Stuck into Present & Total Earned Days :(

    Stuck into Present & Total Earned Days :(

    Greeting to all Respectable people of the Forum

    I have stuck into a simple issue which i cant figure it out

    In my excel sheet I want cell "G11" to display "Zero" as Cell "C11" is zero

    e.g: Present days of an employee is in cell C10 is 2 and Total Days Of the Month is "30" so after calculation working days will be 28 which is displaying ok.

    But

    when the Present days is Zero in Cells "C11:C14", why cells "G10:G14" is displaying Total Days Of the Month "30"

    Please post a sample file. What is formula in G11?

    when i enter value in cell "C11" and down then value displaying in cell "G11" to down across Total Days Of the Month "30".

    but their is some issue in the formula "when i enter Present days 1 in the cell "C11" its shows Earned Days " Total Days Of the Month "30"

    when you Put 29 in C10 and put Zero in "D10, E10 F10" than G10 will show 30 instead of 29

    The current formula does not include adding/subtracting C11 or anything in column C

    Should formula be:

    =COUNTIF($E11,"Yes")+$C$5-D11-$C11

    not

    =COUNTIF($E11,"Yes")+$C$5-D11-$F11

    Total Days Of the Month - Present - Leaves - Absent + One Leave Allowed = (Earned)

    and

    if Present is Zero than Earned should display = Zero

    You need to clearly define your rules which so far have not stated anything about C10 having a value of 30: if it does what is the effect on the other columns as you could get a negative number!
