Multiple vlookups based on 1 criteria

Greetings everyone. I am new to the site and excited to be a part of the discussions. I am currently in the process of creating several free play by email games using excel. The first one is Battletech Total War which is a strategy game that takes place in the Battletech/Mechwarrior game universe. I am a novice excel user but I am learning fast. I am sure I will be posting quite a bit on here. Here is my first question.

I need to create multiple vlookups based on the value in a separate cell. I need certain vlookups to appear or not appear based on the value in D3. Is it even possible?

    Eg: Cell D3 Value 1
    C4 Vlookup 1, D4 Vlookup 2, E4 Vlookup 3, F4 Vlookup 4
    C5 Vlookup 1, D5 Vlookup 2, E5 Vlookup 3, F5 Vlookup 4
    C6 Vlookup 1, D6 Vlookup 2, E6 Vlookup 3, F6 Vlookup 4
    C7 Vlookup 1, D7 Vlookup 2, E7 Vlookup 3, F7 Vlookup 4

    Cell D3 Value 2
    C4 Vlookup 1, D4 Vlookup 2, E4 Vlookup 3
    C5 Vlookup 1, D5 Vlookup 2, E5 Vlookup 3
    C6 Vlookup 1, D6 Vlookup 2, E6 Vlookup 3
    C7 Vlookup 1, D7 Vlookup 2, E7 Vlookup 3

    Cell D3 Value 3
    C4 Vlookup 1, D4 Vlookup 2
    C5 Vlookup 1, D5 Vlookup 2
    C6 Vlookup 1, D6 Vlookup 2
    C7 Vlookup 1, D7 Vlookup 2

    Cell D3 Value 4
    C4 Vlookup 1, F4 Vlookup 4
    C5 Vlookup 1, F5 Vlookup 4
    C6 Vlookup 1, F6 Vlookup 4
    C7 Vlookup 1, F7 Vlookup 4

    Cell D3 Value 5
    C4 Vlookup 1
    C5 Vlookup 1
    C6 Vlookup 1
    C7 Vlookup 1

Far easier to help you out if you post a sample workbook.

If I could that makes sense I would. It looks more confusing in the workbook then on here because I can't show the value change in D3 nor the removal of the vlookups from cells depending on the values in D3.

But what you can do is show us a before and after then explain why you get the result. At the moment the query makes little sense to me and it's impossible to provide a solution if we don't know what you're trying to achieve.

Stab in the dark, that's all you get when not posting a workbook.
