Counting: words and blank spaces

Hello,
I am trying to figure out how many tasks are Risk Level: High, Medium or low, based off of if they are open or not.

Example: If a task is a risk level of high and the Completed field is not populated, then count it. If not, don't count is since it is closed.

I have attached my excel file for review.

Try this formula:

=COUNTIFS(J:J,"<>",W:W,"High")

All I get is 0. What did I do wrong?

Sorry... use this formula instead:

=COUNTIFS(J:J,"",W:W,"High")
