Afternoon All.
I am sure this is a simple one for you guys but after going through several pages of posts i can find a similar post that quite matches what i need.
I have attached a spreadsheet (office365). There are 3 sheets, SERVERCOMDATA(1ST SHEET), CURRENTDISTIDATA(2ND SHEET), DIFFERENTIALOUTPUT(SHEET3)
The purpose is this, i download the current stock list by a particular vendor from my website showing Part Number and Stock Qty and enter that data into Sheet 1. I download the vendors latest stock list which shows Part Numbers and their current Stock Quantity and put that data into sheet 2. When the Macro is run the 1st Sheet searches the second sheet for the Part Number (ColA) and when it finds a match its compares what i have in stock to what they have in stock (ColB), and the difference is shown in the Output (3rd Sheet, ColA and ColB) along with the Part Number AND a list of products that are on my stock list and are not showing on the latest vendors stock list (The vendor may have discontinued since i last updated and removed the part number from their weekly stock update).
My sheet for a particular vendor whose products i stock is about 2500 lines, the vendors stock list is around 68,000 lines. The Output sheet should match the same amount of lines as my stock list (2500) showing all stock changes and any discontinued (missing) line items.
Does that make sense? Hope So.
