    Help with excel formula-lookup/pivot tables

    Help with excel formula-lookup/pivot tables

On the worksheet “summary sheet”, you will find data relating to fuel usage for the month of July. On the worksheet “Job codes” you will find a list of our vehicles and their job code organised by registration number, description and job code.

A job code is a unique number assigned by client NGO so that we can track expenditure related to a particular vehicle.

    (1) Under the heading "Job" on the worksheet , please assign the appropriate job code based on the listing under the “Job codes” spreadsheet. For example, the registration number on the first entry is 3380; this means it is job code 132.

HINT:The quickest way to do this is the use of formulas and/or pivot tables (manual manipulation would not be allowed) Feel free to use another worksheet or use the same worksheet.
