Is SUMIF the correct formula to use for this?

I'm not even sure whether this is possible.

I have a pick list set up but I would like for the 'Deposit Amount' column to 'look' at the 'Credit Terms' column, then make a calculation based on content of the cell.

Eg. If the credit terms are '10-30-60' I would like the value in the 'Deposit Amount' column to show 10% of the value in 'Total Amount Due' column.
It's pretty simple I think - But I can't seem to crack it (obviously doing something wrong) > =IF(G5=Sheet2!C2,"=SUM(/100*10)")

Your example is not to be found in the sheet. Perhaps something like =IF(B2="10-30-60",a1*0.1,"") ?
