Hi - hoping this is a relatively simple query for a real excel newbie.
We are running a raffle where people submit £2 per entry. If they submit £10 - they get five entries.
We can export this into excel, but we are manually adding rows for each person for the draw - so if you get five entries, we manually drag down and copy your row five times.
I know how to obviously divide the cell data by two to show how many entries there are, but not how to get around the manual dragging down to increase rows.
Is there a way to add a formula that will see the number five, then automatically copy the row five times, then move down to the next row etc.
It will also remove human error I guess!
any advice welcome
thanks
