I require a formula that looks at a list of dates and times and indicated which ones are duplicates according to the duplicated date and the relevent time.

Please see attached sheet for details and example required.

in the formula you have

=IF(COUNTIF($C$3:$C$14,C3)=1,"",C3&"_"&MATCH(D3,SMALL((C3=$C$3:$C$14)*($D$3:$D$14),ROW($C$1:$C$12)),0)-12+COUNTIF($C$3:$C$14,C3)+COUNTIFS($C$2:C2,C3,$D$2:D2,D3)) is the $C$1:$c$12 part supposed to be $C$1:$c$14? and is you have say 200 lines you are looking at in each column weould it then be -1000 instead of -12?

Sorry that should be -200 not -1000
