Service Call Frequency Function/Formula

I have an existing excel database that contains customer names, ID numbers, etc. I am looking for a way to easily track the number of times I am sent out for service calls for each individual client. I am hoping to use this knowledge to assess my most frequent customers so I can determine my most frequent problem areas. is there a function/formula that I can use to keep track of how often I visit each client? Thank you.

On a separate sheet you can have the customer names then use a COUNTIF formula. So, if your names are on sheet1 column A, have a list of names on sheet2 column A with this formula

This would also keep a running total of how many times the name appears in column A of sheet1.
