    Clash Report General Question

    Hello,

I'm looking to run a clash report between two different types of document numbers.
    Here is how they're written-
    Document A: AA-123-rev00
    Document B: AA-123

Is it possible to run the clash report so it ignores the last extension of document A (rev00)?

    Thank you all,

    akhaN

Could you explain what a "clash report" is?

Just incase it helps, here is the formula I am working with:

    =IF(COUNTIFS(Sheet1!A:A,G1),"Match Found","No Match")

    Re: Clash Report General Question

Nevermind, I got it. I ended up using Left, Mid, and Right functions to get the job done.

    Thank you!
