# In Queue Formula Issue

Hello,

I have an excel model that I am using to help me find out what changing an ovens cook time (capacity per hour) does to its overall throughput. For some reason my # In Queue (columns K&Q) aren’t calculating correctly (it isn’t kicking out items once the service time (oven capacity) has been reached for that item. I am using ToolPak 4.0 add-in for my queuing formulas. I am attaching the excel workbook. If you can provide any feedback as to what I am doing wrong that would be great!

Hi, welcome to the forum

Hopefully other members will have that add-in. Otherwise you will need to explain what it does
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Re: # In Queue Formula Issue

The Queueing ToolPak (QTP) is a Microsoft Excel add-in consisting of a library of functions that perform basic calculations for waiting line analysis. Once the Queueing ToolPak is installed on your computer you can use the functions as you would any other Excel function. The functions allow integration of queueing performance measures into spreadsheet models without the limitations imposed by templates with fixed input and output areas that are commonly used for analysis of waiting lines
