Vlookup or Hlookup for Depreciation calculations

I'm struggling with the formula to capture capital expenses and depreciation to carry it into a financials page. My calculations are by asset category and need to flow through into the balance sheet on another tab for the asset value and depreciation, and I'm not entirely sure which formula to use. It's by both quarter and year in the format I need, so the first two years are by quarter and the last five are by year, which makes it even more complicated. Plus, I have two sections, one for cash purchases and one for leases. Check out the attachment and thank you for any suggestions!!

    1. I would include the month and year of purchase to allow mid project purchases and to extablish the last month of depreciation
