vlookup formula

I'm trying to come up with a vlookup (I think) formula to carry through purchase amounts of assets on the depreciation schedule. Attached is my basic template and I'm not sure how to capture both the category in the Cash section and the same category in the Leases section so they will pull through to total all purchases so I can then calculate Depreciation.

    Any formula help out there?

Perhaps if you included a few sample answers in your file?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
