Hello!
So; spreadsheet of clients. Column A = client, Column B = spouse or S.O. Obviously, not all clients will have a spouse/S.O. I would like the B Cells to be filled with a color ONLY IF there is a name in Column A and NO name in Column B.
I have tried Conditional Formatting rules using a formula: =IF(AND(A2>0,B2=0)) and =IF(AND(A2>0,B2=0),B2,0) and =IF(AND(A2>0,B2=0),"single",0) -- I've also tried these with "" or " " instead of 0.
I've also tried two separate rules -- A2>0 then B2=O. The cell stays color-filled even when a name is entered in the B Cell.
I am missing something. Probably something just too obvious (could be 10 AM is still too early for me).
Thanks!
