How to highlight formula text that does not match other text?

Hi,
I am trying to find a way to highlight incorrect results. I have a column that lists the known genotype as text and a column that uses the IF formula to dictate the genotype of a sample based on if the confidence of the sample is greater than the set threshold (=IF(sample value>set threshold,"Wild Type,"Variant")). I was trying to use conditional formatting to highlight any resulted genotypes that do not match the known genotype, but I cannot seem to get it to work. I am wondering if there is a way to convert the formula to text and then use a different matching formula... or maybe someone has a simpler idea? Thank you!

This is a job for conditional formatting, hon. If you select C6:C18 then add a CF rule with this formula:

=C6<>F6
