Ignore text in cell for use of function but Still show the text in a VlOOKUP

So I think I've attached it properly, we'll see.

I've made this sheet for a FIFA Draft. So you type a players name into your little box and it pulls from the second sheet the players overall rating giving you a team average at the bottom and reducing the amount of money you have left. What I would like is another row next to team average pulling data from the second sheet, checking against the name typed into the player signed column and showing the highest attribute that specific player possesses. These will then be hidden and show the average rating of the teams highest attribute, giving some extra pointless info on the main strengths of each persons team as the draft goes on.

This is all very silly and there's absolutely no reason to go this in depth but I want to

EDIT: sorry I went well off point there. So my Main problem (at the moment) is that where I gather the max value for each player I would like to ignore the text placed in the top row (and missed out of the others to show where I'm not able to sort this) for the sake of the function, but still have it clearly labeled which column this stat has come from to show the teams main strength
