    Using Index/Match function

I'm creating a Pipeline Spreadsheet with a Master list tab; Recently Opened tab, Under Construction tab, and Proposed tab. I need these three tabs to auto populate through a VLookup or Index/match function from master list. So for example any building with the Proposed Status on the Master will automatically be filled in with all the other information on the property(Name, City, State, etc) for the Proposed Tab. Can anybody help me with a formula for this? Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

    Re: Using Index/Match function

To automate this process you would need to use an array function. Here's an example where minimum mileage requirements are entered and a list of qualifying cars and models autopopulates. You could construct a file using an array that filters based on property type. Remember, arrays are entered by hitting ctrl+shift+enter. NOT JUST enter.

Sure, just upload the file to this thread. If I can't figure it out, surely someone else will.

Here's the file with the populated "Proposed" list. You can copy that sheet and change the status type to whatever other ones you'd like.

Just curious, why not use pivot tables?
