vlookup not finding my hyperlinks!!

Hi Folks,

I am pulling data from one sheet to another....its working fine for text and numerical values....but I cannot get it to import the hyperlinks stored in the source xls using this formula

=HYPERLINK(VLOOKUP(B18,'[Missing Values - SA.xlsx]Sheet1'!$A$1:$AS$68,42,FALSE))

What am I doing wrong?

The HYPERLINK() function is used to create hyperlink cells, but requires you input the link and the text you'd like displayed.

If you had your links in column AQ in your Missing Values workbook, and the text you'd like displayed over your hyperlink in column AP, you could use the hyperlink formula like:
