    Question Need to mark all Fridays and Saturdays as weekly holidays automatically with custom color

    Hi,

    I have created an excel file where the day and date changes according to year. I need to mark all Fridays and Saturdays as weekly holidays in a way that all the Fridays and Saturdays are colored automatically (the way I have manually colored).

    Would someone please help me out how I can do this automatically.

    Try

    Select C2

    Conditional Formatting
    New Rule
    Use a formula to determine...

    =OR(DAY(c$2)=1,day(c$2)=7)

    Format as required
    Use Format painter (paintbrush icon) to copy to other cells
