countif wich criteria is for: RED?

hi friends i have next scenario:

A1 = RED CHIEF
A2 = GOLDEN
A3 = GOLDEN
A4 = STARKING
A5 = RED DELICIOUS
A6 = GOLDEN
B1 = STARKING
B2 = RED CHIEF
B3 = GOLDEN RED
B4 = RED DELICIOUS
B5 = GOLDEN
B6 = RED CHIEF

in cell C1 i want write this formula: count all cells that contain RED the range is: A1:B6 but the criteria?

in this case the result would be: 6 (A1, A5, B2, B3, B4, B6)
