Hi
I am using Excel 2010 and am struggling with a formula for this...
I have a spreadsheet (attached below) which has some basic conditional formatting (yes/green & no/red) when a target is acheived. In addition to this I would like the sheet to populate an arrow in the adjacent cell to show the direction of travel of the objective that month compared with the previous month. I have simply used the wingdings 3 front to populate this in the spreadsheet to show what I am after.
- If the objective is consistent with the previous month (yes-yes or no-no) then it should show a forwards arrow.
- If the objective is worse that the previous month (yes-no) then it should show a down arrow.
- If the objective is an improvement on the previous month (no-yes) then it should show an up arrow.
I would really appreciate your help in resolving this one, with thanks in advance, Paul.
