Rolling calculation from Total - Zero

I have absolutely no idea if this is possible but I am looking for a formula that does a rolling calculation. I have a total (H1) and I want to subtract the times in column B & C (this is extracted data) away from this and until it reaches zero, or as close to zero without going over, then start the calculation again.

I have attached a sample sheet showing what I am trying to achieve, albeit I have manually entered the results I am looking to achieve. Thanks

Questions: Why is there a 2 in C16? Why isn't there a 2 in E12 (seems like it should be there instead of E13)?

Jete - because the sum of the last 2 entries = 1.8 - thanks

Here is a solution that employees two helper columns, which can be hidden, for Machines 1 and 2. The formula that populates the first helper column in each case is:

For the second helper column the formula is:

The formula that fills in the 2's for your "Block Time" columns is:

Here is a file showing how the formulas are incorporated:Copy of Machine Synthetic Times - sample data -2.xlsx
Let me know if you have any questions.
