Using If statement to link item number and item from two different sheets

    Hi All,

I'm stuck, I've done this in the past but I'm at a loss to on how to make this work.

I have a list of item #'s that tie to a name of item. I need that name to come up on another sheet whenever that item number is used.

How would I go about setting this up? Thanks for the help in advance!

    jaylahaye1974, Good morning.

You can use a different ways to do this using Excel.

Vlookup, Hlookup, Index + Match and etc...

It's necessary to know your file to advise you in a conclusive way.
