I'm attempting to search four (4) columns in excel. I am looking for phone numbers that match or are duplicates throughout all four columns. Is there a formula that can help. I have tried conditional formatting but this is no help. Looking for a formula that can aid in searching the four columns to find duplicates in the other columns.
Are you just trying to remove the duplicates? Or just identify them?

Use vlookups with an iferror to 0 out NA's. Then just filter to non 0 rows in your results and you have your matches.
Yes, can you clarify? Why was Conditional Formatting no help? It could certainly be set to show all duplicates. It would not match up the duplicates however (i.e. all duplicates would have red background).

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

I'm in law enforcement. I have two crime scenes with cell phone tower dumps. I 'm attempting to locate a common phone number (which is unknown) at both cell tower locations. I'm not trying to remove duplicates. The conditional formatting just highlights the duplicates and there are too many.
