Set date using value from another cellfor the day

Hi,

I have a cell with a drop down of 1-31 in E5. I need to create a list of months, all using the same date of the month using the value in E5. This forms part of a long IF formula if that affects things.

Cant seem to work it out myself! I have last day of the month, last working day of the month but this one eludes me.

Let say 31 in E5 combine with month=9, returns 1st-Oct !

Not exactly sure what you are wanting to do or how your formula integrates, but does the attached give you what you need.

Perhaps you could upload a sample to demonstrate the problem in more detail

Thanks, that gave me the nudge in the right direction I needed. I have a user entered beginning date, and using =DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1),E5) gives me a draggable list with the same day of the month working down.
