How would I show the latest date in a column when the data looks like this?

16/03/2015 15:07:07
17/03/2015 17:39:31
23/03/2015 16:15:31

23/03/2015 19:04:37
25/03/2015 12:22:12
25/03/2015 15:55:39
17/04/2015 12:00:00

Yes, because you don't have dates in A column.

Select cell in A column, press F2, hit enter and you will get number.

Then format it as you want.
