Vlookup formula is broken when adding a column

I am looking to see if I can figure out a way to add a column without breaking a vlookup formula.
See attached.Test2 Beta Inventory System v2.1.xlsb

If I add a column between column D and E in my Product Validation List tab it will effect all the results in columns C through E in my Product Forecast Details tab. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

    Thanks in advance.

You could use MATCH with the column header name to get the column number instead of hard coding it.

    Or, stop inserting columns.

Or, just put new columns at the end.

Thank you. The Match function worked perfectly.
