I've got those formulas in two different sheets. How can I get a count of the unique values in both ranges in a single cell? i.e the count of those shown in yellow?

EDIT: 1003 and 1007 should be highlighted yellow in the second range as well.Book1.xlsx

Hi and welcome to the forum,

You're likely to get a better response if you upload the actual workbook rather than a picture. Not many of us are inclined to recreate your data when you already have it. - See also recommendations in the rules area.

    Hi,

    Why is 1003,x,b unique when 1004,y,a isn't?

I need to understand how you are defining unique.

Re: How to count unique values in two ranges that meet conditions

Unique values that meet the specified condition. I would be counting those others as well using the same formula in a different cell.

In the example given I am interested in unique values in the separate columns that meet condition "x" and "b".

"y" and "a" would be counted in a separate cell.

    Hope that makes sense.
