Dynamic formula to calculate the difference between current and previous month

Dear Experts,

Kindly help out with a formula that can help find the difference between the currently selected month versus the previous month. See attached file

I just want a formula that will do the calculation dynamically without manual intervention. E.g. if the current selected month is "Sep" then i want the formula to be able to calculate the differences between the "Sep" and "Aug" data.
