    Formula not calculating correctly?

    Hi,

    I have been using this formula in the past and it has worked but when i try and do it with the attached it does not bring back a true value. Basically i have a list of sale dates, value and live date, in the formula i have asked it to look at a specific month and identify the total value of live dates within the given year range. It does not seem to bring back the correct value, can anyone help me on this issue please and explain where it may have gone wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sale date is in column A and live date in column C?

    You want to add up values with a sale date in July that meet what criteria????

    In G8, for example, you have:

    =SUMIFS($B$2:$B$117,$C$2:$C$117,">="&$H$3,$B$2:$B$117,"<="&$I$3)

    I think that should be:

    =SUMIFS($B$2:$B$117,$C$2:$C$117,">="&$H$3,$C$2:$C$117,"<="&$I$3)

    Re: Formula not calculating correctly?

    Hi,

    Sorry if i was a bit vague in the description of request. The first column has sale dates, the column with revenue value is the sale value and the final column has go live dates. I am trying to choose each month range be it, Jul, Aug, Sep etc and have the revenue amount total up for sales that go live within a financial year of Jul15-Jun16.
