Highlight Conditional Formating for more than 3 continous days only in tabular format

    Hi,

We only started the Attendance sheet since 19 october 2015. Anything before 19th October is set to white.

I am trying to highlight in the AttDashboard for more than 3 continuous days only as shown in the attached worksheet.

Can anyone assist, please. Thank you.

Thank you for assisting. I am not familiar with Macros.

Is it possible to use index and match formula using "AttEntry" sheet?
If not, I can learn how to use macros.

Well my friend, it is not pretty, but you can can set conditional formatting to the following function for Cell AD12 and paste the formatting over to the others.

Pretty much the Code checks what Day of the week it is, and depending on the day of the week it counts blank cells two days to the left (omitting weekends), a day before and a day after, and two days after. If the blank count is high enough, it highlights it whatever color you set

    Hi,

Thank you for responding. It is working but it's highlighting the days yet to come. Let say, if I select the month of December, it is hightlighting has "Red".

    Hi

I have applied the said formula. We only started as of 19th October, it does not matter if that show's as red.

    1) it's highligting as red after today date.
    2) Weekends are working but need to exclude public holidays as well.
    3) Continuously check previous month of 3 days if the the team did not attend the following month. eg. 30-Oct and 31-Oct and 2-Nov (1 Nov is sun)

Refer to attachment for the formula applied. Really appreciate your help.
