    cascade drop down

    i have an outrageous amount of data that i need to consolidate. i would like to create a dropdown that lists the location>color>direction to hide entire grid. is this possible? and how?

    Hi,

    Not sure what you're getting at. If you'd upload the workbook, anonymised if necessary and manually add the results and layout that you wish to end up with, clearly identifying the data range and the result range then no doubt we can offer more specific help.

    Many members are unable to see images in the *.png format.

    If you need to post an image post it in the *.jpg format.

    Even better than posting images... post a SMALL sample file. That way we can test solutions directly in the file with the relevant data.

    Hi,

    We don't need zillions of rows or columns, as long as there are a representative number, that will be fine. Nor do we need any non relevant sheets. What we do need though is sight of a workbook.
