HELP! - replacing Alphabets to numbers but with conditions.

Hi guys, I have a problem that i am hoping you could help me with. I have a report that i am making. I need to replace Alphabets to numbers, but there are conditions determining what number to replace the cell with. For example. Cell "B" would be 5 if cell "A" or "C" or both contain the letter "R" and the cell "B" itself contains the letter "P", otherwise if all the cells are "L" or "R" for instance it remains 0.

I would appreciate it so much if one of you could help me with this coz it has been wrecking my brain - Thanks.

Could you please provide a sample file showing examples of expected outcomes?

    Your request is not clear...
When you say that a cell "contain the letter p", do you mean the single letter (P) or the letter as part of a string (avsPbf3).

I am really not clear how you expect the cell in B to be both part of the question AND the place for the answer.... If you put the overall answer in another cell, it's easy (see file); but you do need to explain more exactly what you need.
